1. How can I pay for my groceries?
Atlantic accepts cash, checks (see Advantage Card for more details) ATM cards, credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover) E.B.T. (Electronic Benefits Transfer), W.I.C. or Atlantic Food Mart gift certificates.

2. How can I save money at Atlantic?
Sign up for an Atlantic Advantage card. This card is the key to saving on hundreds of specials each week. It also entitles you to receive special targeted coupons delivered to you at the register or in the mail. Take advantage of the special checkout coupons delivered through the printers at each Atlantic Food Mart cash register. Try our wide selection of low cost, high quality private label brands.

3. How do I get an Atlantic Advantage card?
There are 3 easy ways to obtain an Atlantic Advantage Card! One is to stop by the Customer Service Desk and fill out an application. You’ll receive a card for your wallet, and matching key ring cards for added convenience. If you would like to use the Atlantic Advantage Card for check cashing, please provide a driver’s license or state photo ID card. Another way to get your Advantage Card is by using our on-line application. Simply complete the on-line application form and your cards will be sent to you by mail within 3 days. If you would like to use your card for check cashing, stop by the Customer Service Desk and provide a photo ID. You can also print out the application from our web site, fill it in at home, then on your next visit to Atlantic, drop off the form at the Customer Service Desk. Please also bring a driver’s license or state photo ID if you would like to use your card for check cashing.

4. Can I use checks to pay at Atlantic?
The information needed for check writing are state license, or state ID, social security number, date of birth, address and telephone number. The following is our check writing policy:

First check written must be for the EXACT amount of the order up to a maximum of $50.00 with NO CASH BACK. There is a 2-week wait for a N.C.P.S. fraud check until next check can be written.
Personal checks are made payable to Atlantic Food Mart.
No checks will be accepted at the express lanes.
NO CHECKS CASHED, EXCEPT FOR THE EXACT AMOUNT WRITTEN FOR THE ORDER UP TO $250.00-NO CHARGE.

Check limits: Atlantic has a daily check limit of two checks per day or $250.00 maximum written per day (whichever limit is reached first). The weekly check writing limit is four checks per week or a $350.00 maximum written per week (whichever limit is reached first).

THE FOLLOWING CHECKS MAY BE CASHED WITH AN ACCOUNT AT OUR IN-STORE EASTERN BANK BRANCH:

Money orders
Hand written payroll or Government checks
Two party checks
Insurance drafts Pre-dated checks
Post-dated checks after 30 days
Bank or cashier’s checks

6. Is Atlantic Food Mart convenient for handicapped shoppers?
Atlantic has special shopping carts that accommodate wheelchairs. Please feel free to ask your Store Manager for help. While in the store, you can also pay many of your bills; do your banking; pick up and drop off your dry cleaning; get your pictures developed; purchase stamps, money grams, and prepaid phone cards; have important documents notarized; and play the lottery.

7. What do I do if I am not satisfied with a product I purchased at Atlantic?
Simply bring the product back to Atlantic with your receipt. Our customer service associates will gladly refund or replace the product.

8. Do you sell Atlantic Food Mart gift certificates?
Atlantic gift certificates make the perfect gift! Both individual shoppers and organizations may purchase gift certificates at the Customer Service Desk. We accept Cash, Checks (with Atlantic Advantage Card), ATM cards, MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover.

9. What special services are available at Atlantic Food Mart?
Onsite notary from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., State lottery tickets, Reading Municipal Light Dept utility bill drop-off box, Coinstar coin redemption, Children's clubs, and more! Visit the services section of the web site for more details!

10. Can I get my prescriptions filled while I shop?
RiteAid is located across the street from Atlantic Food Mart. Drop off your prescriptions before shopping and they will be ready when you are finished. RiteAid accepts a wide variety of Pharmacy Plans and their knowledgeable and friendly pharmacists will be happy to answer any of your questions.
